Team Dinner

Friday March 6, 2009.  Some of the Fresno area riders got together for dinner prior to the Blossom Ride the following day.  We enjoyed all the food DiCicco's had to offer.  From the meat balls to the pasta, it was all enjoyable. 

Menlo Park p1/2/3 Race

This race was John and I.  Big field of 100 guys including many 3's and they were being picked separately too.  Kind of made everyone nervous.

Right off the bat we got a break of 6 going that looked very promising: Holloway, Dan Martin (Safeway), Rand Miller (Webcor), myself, Davis rider, SJBC rider.  Would have stuck but Martin pissed off Holloway in the primes, so Holloway attacked him then stopped working.

Bunch more attacks near the end, but I just helped keep it all together at that point, which paid off cause John went for an early, long sprint (400+ yrds?) which decemated the rest of the field except for Holloway.  Daniel followed, came around, and won.  John 2nd, AJM third.
